Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil
ArtRage Gallery, 505 Hawley Street, Syracuse, NY
November 20, 2014 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Transgender Day of Remembrance, occurs annually on November 20th and is a day to memorialize those who have been killed as a result of transphobia, the hatred or fear of transgender and gender non-conforming people. We host this event in order to bring attention to the continued violence endured by the transgender community as we work to build a world of respect and acceptance of all people. The event, with speakers, will culminate in a candlelight vigil.
Free to the Public.
